Our teams are built on a global mindset, sparked by sharp minds of diverse individuals and reflects the global consumers we serve.  Bring your energy and fresh perspective, contribute to our movement and build your future with us.   Loss Prevention Officer:Flexibility is required to come in earlier or stay later as needed.Principal Accountabilities:The Loss Prevention (LP) Officer is responsible for carrying out the everyday loss prevention functions of the VF Outdoor, Martinsville Distribution Center as directed by the Loss Prevention Supervisor and Safety & Risk Manager.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for conducting random but routine patrols throughout the facility.Responsible for monitoring and screening all persons entering or exiting the production area during normal shift changes and breaks.Monitor and screen all persons entering or exiting the facility when operating the front desk.Responsible for insuring all persons employed or visiting the facility comply with company rules, guidelines, and procedures.Operate and conduct surveillance tours throughout the facility with closed circuit TV from the control room.Maintain accurate records and logs to include the Daily LP Log, Visitors Log, Guardhouse, Shipping and Receiving Logs, key logs, locker assignment and equipment logs.Investigate all accidents and incidents and write accurate reports following them up to a conclusion.Perform all tasks assigned to each position to include operating the  Switchboard, Guardhouse, Control Room, and Shipping and Receiving positions.Respond to emergency situations acting in accordance with established Emergency Action Plans.Respond to all emergency and non emergency calls to the facility such as burglar alarms, fire alarms, or weekend calls as needed.Operate all equipment assigned to each position. This equipment includes but is not limited to; CCTV Pelco Controller, Exacq DVR, Bosch Business Integrated System alarm management system and software, Bosch card access system, Notifier AFC600 FCP,  Premis I.D. badge system.Perform data entry and search records and information within the various databases in access, excel, word and specialized systems software applications.All tasks and responsibilities of this position are not listed above; however, these are the primary and routine assignments. Other assignments may be added to this job at any time by the Supervisor/Manager of Loss Prevention.
