Description:Inbound Transportation Analyst – (Global Trade, Import & Domestic Freight)Location:  Remote – TX, FL, PASummaryThe Inbound Transportation Analyst will work within the Inbound Transportation team to manage and optimize inbound operations.  Identifying opportunities for improvement in performance KPIs, cost savings, and overall system execution (both long and short term) are a key goal for this position.  Working with the team to ensure that new initiatives are successful and minimizing risks within the inbound transportation system.  The Analyst will need to work with a high level of detail and knowledge in reviewing transportation invoices for billing inaccuracies and opportunities for cost improvement.This position supports the broader Supply Chain and Fulfillment operations teams while maintaining close relationships with our merchants, in-stock team, and external partners.  This position is focused on controlling costs, process execution and relentlessly looks for opportunities to attack inefficiencies such as sub optimal vendor performance and inaccurate invoicing. Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain tracking and Reporting for inbound transportation shipments that are used for measuring business performance and identification of opportunities for improvement.Execute claw-back program to retrieve overpayments to vendors/carriers.Review vendor invoicing, and work with vendors to correct any errors identified.Manage port selections and overall cost for containers/movements, with direction from manager.Maintain a working knowledge of weekly business updates to Senior and Executive leaders on metrics, cost, and program statuses.Work with a team of Inbound logistics specialists and continually improve/develop their (own/team) understanding of customs and duties regulations.Manage 3P vendors with special consideration for schedule adherence, cost, and accuracy.Manage global trade compliance with 3P resellers.Assist with Ad Hoc international and domestic transportation needs from internal GameStop partners.Basic RequirementsStrong attention to detail and logistics/customs compliance knowledgeExcellent communication skills5+ years working in an operational/manufacturing/production environment.5+ years working in logistics and transportationUnderstanding of data storage, handling, and manipulation in a business environment.An inquisitive nature and the drive for understanding (operations, opportunities, failures, etc.)Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, finance, or logistics or at least 5 years of GameStop experience.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead cross-functionally
