Job Summary and Qualifications This entry level role will be responsible for setting up and maintaining logins and password accounts for the payer websites used by the PSC and practices. Set up will include gathering the current data from the AR teams and practices, contacting the payers to change the Administrator account for the websites, and adding the information to the database.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO :
1. Routine rotation to include resetting access passwords, working request tickets, serving MFA codes, etc.
2. Routine review of accounts to ensure that employees are listed as active
3. Account setup and coordination with the insurance payer for new accounts and website access
4. Coordination with payers and practices to ensure that the payer is utilized
5. Maintain password management database to ensure entries are accurate
6. Special projects as assigned. Ensuring projects are completed by established deadline
7. Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
1. Proficient in English
2. Communication - communicates clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing
3. Customer orientation - establishes and maintains long-term customer relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations
4. Interpersonal skills - able to work effectively with other employees, patients and external parties
5. Basic skills - able to perform basic mathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures, punctuate properly, spell correctly and transcribe accurately
6. Technology skills - demonstrate basic knowledge of PCs in both software and hardware. Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and Windows operating systems.
7. Understanding of payer websites and associated account administration.
8. Knowledge of Access Control requirements as defined by HIPAA
9. Possess a sense of urgency, and the ability to multi-task
