Get ready to roll up your sleeves and be immersed in the fast-paced, ever-changing, incredibly fun world of advertising! During this paid, full-time,10-week summer internship program, you will gain an understanding of the advertising industry and technology marketing, work collaboratively in teams to solve business challenges, contribute to marketing campaigns, and truly be valued as a junior member of your team.
You already have a strong portfolio, are a great storyteller and possess a masterful command of the English language. You share our passion for creativity and innovation and are also an all-around good person. You’ll work alongside some of Austin’s top creative talent and learn and grow with us.
Specific tasks may include:
Working under the tutelage of the senior creative staff, the Copywriter Intern helps to develop a range of marketing initiatives including product launch campaigns, digital ad banners, web content, and videos
Concept, create and define concepts based on brand values and client briefs with potential to produce finished work
Assist in building presentations and finalizing marketing deliverables
Help manage the voice and tonality of the Dell brand while creating work that informs and engages target audiences.
Work on a group project with your fellow interns to present to the agency/business team at the end of your term
Skills:
Ability to work conceptually and strategically
Ability to write clear, concise and grammatically correct copy.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from team members, managers, and clients
Ability to manage projects from concept to implementation.
Eager to help with projects of any size
Self-starter who takes direction well
Requirements:
Tremendous sense of craft
Relevant copywriting experience and training
A very strong digital portfolio is required for consideration
Working towards a Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Advertising or related discipline
Graduation Date:   December 2023 or Spring 2024 (prior to July)
