We are seeking a Full-time Shipping and Receiving Warehouse Assistant. This position helps move high-tech gear in and out of our facilities in Grapevine, TX. This person will handle the shipping and receiving of equipment. This includes obtaining an order for the delivery of equipment to a client, and general organization of the warehouse. In this role you will be responsible for the day to day order process, insuring inbound orders get processed in a timely manner. You will help unload and load gear off trucks so this is a position that requires a good amount of physical activity.
The ideal candidate could be someone straight out of school or seeking a foot in the door into the broadcasting industry. We prefer this person have 1 -2 years of warehouse experience in our industry. You may also be a person who enjoys working in a warehouse, detail oriented, or wishes to apply their skills in the industry. This position provides training and opportunity for growth. Hourly wage is $16-$17 per hour. This is an hourly position / day shift (mostly Monday - Friday) that may have some overtime as needed.
Key duties include:
• Responsible for the day-to-day order process, ensuring inbound and outbound orders get processed promptly.
• Communicate and create shipping arrangements for orders leaving the buildings via vendors i.e. SOS, FedEx, UPS, etc.
• Help load and unload gear off trucks using a hand truck, pallet jack, and forklift.
• Create accurate R2 documentation for all the equipment leaving the building for an order.
• Coordinate outbound logistics including scheduling, transit time, pricing, and vehicle type.
• Prep gear packages including cleaning cases and preparing labels.
• Document missing and damaged equipment on return from a contract.
• Deliver equipment to and from client, sub-vendor, and shipper.
Requirements
• Knowledge of UBS R2 software a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Willingness to take on new challenges and problems and see them through
• High school diploma or equivalent required
