We are looking for a dynamic candidate that loves camp!
Camp Pennyroyal is a traditional overnight summer camp owned and operated by the Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana. Pennyroyal is 180-acres with its own 8-acre spring feed lake, high ropes course and plenty of hiking trails to explore. Our program typically hosts Girl Scouts grades K-12 with up to 80 campers and adult volunteers. All program staff will participate in a program training 5/26-5/28. All staff must attend staff training 5/30-6/9 . We are seeking an enthusiastic Program Coordinator to provide the ultimate summer camp experience for our campers by delivering daily programming in the areas of the arts, STEAM, outdoors, games and more. The Program Coordinator will work with the Program Director to deliver specific programs related to traditional camp activities or unit themes to campers during specified times. They will also work on teams of 2-3 counselors and unit leaders to oversee a unit typically comprised of 4-24 girls which includes sleeping in unit, helping cover breaks and assisting with unit programing as needed. The ideal candidate will be genuinely invested in the development of our campers and how we can best empower them.
