Job Description Windridge Country Club has an opening this Spring and Summer for a single position of Weekend and Special Events Cook. Our kitchen will be open Thursday through Sunday with this position requiring mostly evening shifts. This is a unique position for a second job or a mid-level self-starter.
We require basic knowledge of all restaurant procedures. The ability to work alone is valuable and our position requires multi-tasking ability. Our shifts will usually run from 2:00pm until close which may vary. Most food preparation is for basic bar/small dining foods. However, we do host a variety of special events such as weddings and parties. You would be required to prepare specialty foods and work with our events coordinator for planning and preparation. This position requires inventory control and preparation of food orders. Knowledge of health and safety is required.
Windridge Country Club is a semi-private 18-hole golf course in Owensboro. We offer free golf course and swimming pool privileges for all employees. We offer a casual, family type atmosphere.
Company Description Windridge Golf Course was founded in 1957. We offer year-round golf on our semi-private golf course. Our swimming pool is available for use for private membership from June-August. We are a quiet, casual, family-type club. We offer banquet and meeting room for parties, weddings and business affairs.
