As a Lead Analyst, you'll apply your expertise to solving real world business problems through innovation and design best practices within our Small and Mid-Sized Business (SMB) and Business to Consumer (B2C) Marketplaces Technology Team focusing on deploying a newly acquired third party™s solutions within JPMC, making it client facing and integrating to other internal systems
You will work on the delivery of JPMC™s response to the rapidly growing vehicle electronic payments industry, enabling online purchasing of cars, in vehicle payments, and subscription services for maintenance. You will be responsible for bringing a newly acquired company™s technology into JPMC to create a digital product that bring this new revenue stream to life for a growing book of clients.
To deliver the product you will partner with the acquired company™s technology team and a range of internal stakeholders on a daily basis, deploying this new software into physical and cloud compute platforms, and integrating it with systems across the JPMC ecosystem.
This product sits in JPMC Payments Technology which processes trillions of dollars a day and settles some of the most critical global financial transactions. Within Payments Technology you will join the Small and Mid-Sized Business (SMB) and Business to Consumer (B2C) Marketplaces Technology Team which is a thought leader in innovative banking solutions that accelerate financial digitization growth of small businesses, marketplaces and gig economies.

Job responsibilities
• Working in close partnership with product owners to ensure business, software and information requirements are sufficiently documented to inform the development of software solutions.
• Research and create documentation of feature requirements as epics and user stories with an eye toward the larger product needs while focusing on the details of the individual requirements
• Collaborate with product owners to design measurable acceptance criteria and drive clear definitions of done.
• Form excellent working relationships with all involved teams at various levels of seniority
• Provide regular progress updates and ensure escalation of any serious issues.
• Provide ideas on improving existing business processes to achieve system and process enhancements and efficiencies.
• Serve as scrum master for the feature team
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• 3+ years of practical experience working in an Agile environment
• 5+ years of technical business analysis experience
• Active and motivated self-learner with the ability to develop deep domain knowledge of the Wholesale Payments business and the intersection with B2B and B2C marketplaces
• Experience working with all facets of Payments (e.g. ACH, Wires) as well as FX payments cross border and domestic
• Experience working with global clients
• Excellent Business Analysis skills to map current and proposed process and data flows into stories, use cases, and specifications by example focusing on the minimum viable product
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication across all levels
• Problem resolution - good investigation, innovation and analytical skills
• Good Influencing and motivational skills
• Ability to manage own day-to-day workload, and ensure delivery to required deadlines
• Risk, issue, and dependency management skills, inclusive of proactive mitigation strategies
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• Experience with ˜Design Thinking™ in an Agile setting
• Exposure to Banking Settlement and Payments and/or modern payment platforms
• Creativity and openness to innovating established paradigms to better align with market needs
• Ability to assimilate information and assess impact on process
• Ability to visualize requirements where needed in the form of wireframes, business process diagrams etc.
• Ability to analyse large data sets for patterns (e.g. JSON objects, excel, SQL)
• Knowledge of Atlassian JIRA and Confluence products
About the Payments Innovation Lab in Athens
We recently announced plans for a new office in Athens, Greece, to support our organic growth in the country and to bolster the innovation efforts of our Payments business globally.
J.P. Morgan first opened its doors in Greece more than five decades ago, and today we provide products and services from across our Investment Banking, Payments and Asset & Wealth Management businesses to a number of local and multinational Greek clients.
The new office will house a new Payments Innovation Lab, which will provide research and development to the J.P. Morgan Payments business. Initially, the Innovation Lab will concentrate on the development of solutions around distributed ledger technology, artificial intelligence and cryptography related to payments systems in support of Onyx by J.P. Morgan.
