Position Summary
The Center for the Study of Global Issues ( GLOBIS ) is seeking a high-achieving, detail-oriented person to support the day-to-day activities of our busy team and help us be even more efficient and productive. The ideal candidate is someone who is interested in meaningful work in human rights and global education, with a great attitude to tackling both small and large tasks. The successful applicant will be a great communicator, poised under pressure, and comfortable working with using their initiative and managing their own workload.

• Assist GLOBIS team with communicating with collaborators and others
• Assist GLOBIS team and collaborators with website development and editing
• Help GLOBIS team members produce public-facing reports, videos, podcasts, and other forms of research and educational communication

• Assist GLOBIS team members in researching funding opportunities
• Assist GLOBIS team members and collaborators in researching human rights issues, groups, metrics, and other related issues
• Assist the GLOBIS team with drafting, editing, formatting, and managing surveys in Qualtrics, as well as managing the resulting data
• Support GLOBIS team members in development of educational programs, reports, videos, podcasts, and other research and educational products

• Work with GLOBIS team members and collaborators to schedule online and in-person meetings and events, efficiently coordinating attendee availability
• Record and distribute meeting minutes
• Serve as a liaison between GLOBIS and collaborators in different countries

• Help GLOBIS team plan and promote events

• Drafting emails, reports, and other documents
• Workflow management and task tracking
• Development of working relationships with collaborators around the world
