Full Job Description United Diagnostics Lab, LLC. is looking for a fulltime Operations Manager to work in our Owensboro, KY location. As a part of the UDL team, this position reports to the Regional Operations Director.

Position: Operations Manager
Location: Owensboro, KY
Department: Laboratory
Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Medical Office Manager are to provide management of staff, gives training, and daily operational oversight of the medical laboratory. The position requires an individual with excellent communication skills and strong leadership with team development skills.
Qualifications:
· Experience in medical practice management, at least 3 years.
· Ability to document reports involving multi-level corporate and operational issues.
· Versatility in working with analytical and financial data; including balance sheets, payroll, and financial reporting.
· Maintaining all federal, state, hospital, and insurance compliance items.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
· Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects at one time.
· Attention to detail and follow-through.
· Ability to lead and work in a team environment with a positive attitude
Job Duties:
· Provides leadership and direction to assure overall performance of the laboratory.
· Manage professional schedules and other issues.
· Monitor overall success of business including finance, operations, systems and personnel.
· Participate in regular administration meetings and provide input for excellent customer services and operational workflow.
· Initiate and participate in regular meetings with management, sales, and general staff, preparing written agenda in advance, and follow-through with monthly and bi-monthly objectives and goals.
· Enhance operational effectiveness, focusing on efficiency and quality of care.
· Routine review and implementation of managed care contracts.
· Coordination of billing practices, with prior experience preferred.
· Develops individual staff abilities by coaching, mentoring, and advising. Responsible for all Human Resources including but not limited to recruitment, hiring, performance reviews, benefits, and termination.
· Conduct regular staff meetings, mandatory for all employees. Prepare written agenda in advance, soliciting input from and providing feedback to Regional Manager and staff regarding work-related issues.
· Oversee and monitor implementation of policies, including staff education and follow-up.
· Organize, maintain, and negotiate vendor relationships.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
