Oncology Travel RN
• Monitor and record patients’ vitals and specialized readings.
• Collaborate with medical team on patient care plan.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered to assigned patients.
• Provide education to the patient and family members about their disease, medications, and  plan of care, including home care and ongoing treatments.
• If necessary, respond to medical emergency and alert appropriate team members.
• Flexibility to travel to the assignment location.
• Availability to work the facility’s required schedule.
• Willingness to complete onboarding items in a timely manner.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and strive for the highest quality of patient care.
Job Requirements:
• 1+ year of experience as an Oncology nurse
• Graduate from an accredited nursing school
• Current state specific RN license in good standing, or if applicable, a compact state RN license in good standing
• BLS certification required
• May require Chemotherapy certification
