Position Title: Treating Quality Control Technician Salary/ Hourly: Hourly
$14.00 - $16.00/ HOUR
General Summary:
The Treating Quality Control Technician will work in our lab and perform quality control testing on our treated lumber products and assist in the daily maintenance of equipment.
Requirements Knowledge:
Must be at least 18 years of age
High School Diploma/ GED required
Working knowledge and proficiency in the use of computer and business software, including Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams)
Successfully pass a drug test

Principal Duties/ Responsibilities
Drill lumber for samples
Drive a forklift (will train)
Maintain equipment
Properly fill out paperwork
Maintain product standards i.e. retention and penetration
Perform appropriate cylinder washout procedures when changing treatments, while following all safety protocols.
Maintain treating records.
Ensure all environmental and safety procedures are followed and report all unsafe or non compliant issues.
Record all lumber being treated
Efficiently to meet all production goals
Adept to have quality control competency
Other duties as directed.
