Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Material Handler position .
Type: 40hrs/wk.  Contract
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Athens, GA
Pay: $18/hr
Length: Twelve (12) months with the possibility of extension or conversion
Shift: Mon – Fri, various shifts available
Responsibilities for this Material Handler position include but are not limited to:
• Performs a variety of duties to move materials, supplies, and finished goods to designated placed in the facility or onto and off trucks
• Water Spider
• Stock room
• Recycler
• Shipping Doc
• Inter plant
• Receiving
Qualifications for this Material Handler position:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Material handler experience
• Ability to receive and understand writing and verbal communication in English
• Ability to read and comprehend orders
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs close to the body and 35 lbs away from body 60% of the time
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, stoop, and lift
• Basic computer skills
• Steel toe shoes required
