We have an immediate opening in Athens Georgia for Assembly Technicians!
• Location: Baldor Assembly Team Technician for Athens Georgia Team C
• Hours: All shift available 1 st 7am – 3pm 2 nd 3pm – 11pm and 3 rd 11pm – 7am
• All positions will train on first shift
• Duration: Temp to Hire potential!
• Wages $17.50 per hour

The Assembly Technician performs a variety of tasks to assemble industrial electric motors, including press operations, turning operations using CNC lathes, welding, dynamic balancing, electrical testing, painting and crating.
• The ability to measure in inches and fractions with a steel rule or tape is required.
• Temp to hire and direct hire opportunities available. Your responsibilities
• Ability to receive and understand spoken and written technical instructions and respond in English.
• The ability to read and interpret information from prints, factory orders, routings and other internal documentation in hard copy or electronic formats.
• Function safely in an industrial manufacturing setting where factory physical conditions exist, including shift work as required.
• Attendance and punctuality to company standards.
• Use the overhead crane/hoist.
• Use appropriate gauges and measuring devices.
Qualifications
• The ability to measure in inches and fractions with a steel rule or tape is required
• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous Industrial Experience
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand, stoop bend and lift.
