Responsibilities - Entry-Level Auto Repair Techs, Apprentices:
• Learn how to complete basic automotive maintenance and repairs and more.
• Basic auto maintenance includes oil/fluid changes, rotate and balance tires, replace brake pads, battery, filters, and more.
• Train with Mid and Senior level automotive technicians to repair brakes, heating and air conditioning, steering and suspension, engines, and more.
• Work as part of a team to solve technical problems quickly and effectively
• Learn new technologies within the rapidly changing automotive industry
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including consumer tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.
• Keep shop area neat/clean and account for tools.
Qualifications - Entry-Level Auto Repair Techs, Apprentices:
• Hard worker, someone who works diligently to finish tasks
• Responsible, dependable, conscientiousness, and a team participant.
• Manual dexterity and physical stamina
• Ability to lift heavy objects and walk and stand for extended periods of time
• A positive attitude, good communication skills, and pays attention to details
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
