Full Job Description Nighthawk Security Company is looking for a full-time Payroll Administrator to join our team and support the payroll functions at our corporate office. We are looking for individuals who are seeking long-term employment, with no plans to relocate in the near future . The ideal candidate will have a strong work history, with past or current experience in payroll.
Major Responsibilities:
• Process multi-state payrolls timely and accurately, maintain related records
• Filing tax reports and voluntary deduction reports
• Process involuntary deductions such as levies and garnishments, and maintain applicable correspondence
• Process and submit direct deposit and positive pay files
• Address queries about payroll-related issues
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payroll, conduct routine audits of payroll processes
• Perform other duties as assigned, prepare special reports for senior management
• Be able to work consistently in an office setting and not miss work often, must be able to maintain a solid attendance record
Qualifications:
• Strong organizational skills, Critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of ADP systems helpful
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, demonstratable
• Scheduling experience is preferred, Snap Schedule 365 software experience is a plus
• 1-3 years of payroll experience is preferred
• Attention to detail and preciseness are essential
• Ability to multitask under time constraints
• Phone etiquette is beneficial

Application Process: Applicants for this position will be required to answer their phone to conduct a brief phone introduction/interview. From there, qualified applicants will be scheduled for an in-person interview at Nighthawk’s corporate office.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00AM – 3:00PM CST at Nighthawk’s Corporate Office located in Owensboro, KY. The ideal candidate would live no more than 30 minutes away from the Corporate Office.
Miscellaneous:
A background check and drug test will be required of the hired candidate. Candidate must have reliable transportation.
