Summary
This position is located at Departmental Offices,Domestic Finance-Financial Institutions. As a/an Policy Analyst, you will represent the US Treasury on White House National Security Council (NSC) cyber-related groups, Office of the National Cyber Director groups, and in a Cyber Coordination Center (e.g. CISA) as assigned. Duties The following are the duties of this position at the GS-13. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position. Research, develop, identify, review, analyze, and evaluate policy options and risk management implications to further current and proposed cybersecurity, resilience, critical infrastructure protection. Support the development of cyber, technology, and infrastructure resilience policy and strategy and works closely with across the Department, other federal agencies, and the private sector to set the organization priorities. Such efforts are often classified up to and including the TS SCI level. Provide advice, guidance, and recommendations to top officials on critical issues such as justifying matters involving a significant and controversial program of national scope and impact.

Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized experience for the GS-13 level: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience directly related to the position to be filled which has equipped the candidate with particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Successful experience can be gained in the Federal service or its equivalent in state or local government or private sector organizations. Specialized experience includes the following: -Assisting in preparing written materials, including briefing or issue papers, and memoranda for use by senior officials, including for the purpose of meetings, speeches, interviews, and testimony; AND -Summarizing findings and research in written products of various types such as tables, charts, short summaries, or longer memos, presentations and reports; AND -Assisting in preparing responses to Congressional, press or other public inquiries; AND -Conducting research on a wide range of issues related to Domestic Finance such as, financial research, legal research, or regulatory and policy developments. Specialized experience for the GS-12: You must have one (1) year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal service, public or other private sectors. Specialized experience for this position includes all of the following: -Assisting in preparing written materials, including briefing or issue papers, and memoranda for use by senior officials, including for the purpose of meetings, speeches, interviews, and testimony; AND -Summarizing findings and research in written products of various types such as tables, charts, short summaries, or longer memos, presentations and reports; AND -Assisting in preparing responses to Congressional, press or other public inquiries. Specialized Experience for the GS-11: You must have one (1) year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-09 level in the Federal service, public or other private sectors. Specialized experience for this position includes all of the following: -Experience identifying, analyzing and proposing policies and processes, AND -Experience recommending policies for maintaining documents, OR A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related OR A combination of education and experience.How You Will Be Evaluated You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.
