Benchmark is seeking a talented Aftermarket Business Development Analyst to lead Parts and Service growth initiatives. The candidate for this opportunity will be responsible for analyzing sales data to develop best practices and procedures to improve sales Hit Rates, improve Gross Margin, improve Customer Service, and evaluate Customer Spend trends. In addition, assisting with developing Standard Operating Procedures to maintain internal and external department efficiency, and developing strong customer relationships through satisfaction/support. This position reports to the Aftermarket Services Manager and is located in our Statham, GA facility.
• Lead efforts to analyze and understand sales delivery metrics, revenue, and margins for the aftermarket group which will lead to actionable strategies to grow revenue for the department.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures to support the Customer Service Representatives sales data entry into the Sytleline ERP system along with quote and follow-up timing best practices.
• Assist with strategic development of a pro-active retrofit/upgrade sales program using historic sales data to uncover opportunities on past machine install base.
• Serve as focal point for value-based pricing efforts with continued emphasis to stay ahead of cost increases and margin percent declines.
• Use Sales metrics to manage safety stock to maximize same day shipments.
• Data Management using aftermarket tools available including Hit Rate  Analysis, Follow-up Tracking, and Price/Margin Tracker.
• Lead/Participate in conference calls, meetings, and reports related to data management
• Ability to learn and use Salesforce CRM data entry and sales analysis to provide opportunities to the Aftermarket Team.
Who we’re looking for?
• 2 + years’ experience in customer service or aftermarket role within a consumer-based industry.
• 2 years’ experience or education in data analysis collection, interpretation, and problem solving.
• Basic understanding of financial metrics required to evaluate cost/pricing/margins
• Computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills which includes presentation skills.
• Solid knowledge of Syteline and other company operating systems highly desired.
• Previous sales experience required.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to successfully handle a multi-tasked role.
• Able to travel 20% of the time.
