Full Job Description
Owensboro Catholic Schools is seeking applicants for a full-time Math teacher at Owensboro Catholic High School. The ideal candidate would be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church who has a Math Education degree and has a passion for teaching adolescents.
Essential Job Functions
• Provide daily math instruction for students in grades 9-12
• Use best practices to provide effective instruction and positive, consistent classroom management.
• Communicate with students, parents, and other stakeholders in a professional and positive manner
• Function as a cooperative, productive team member at OCHS
• Support and uphold the philosophy and mission of the Catholic Church and the Owensboro Catholic School System.
The successful candidate must pass criminal background check and complete safe environment training for the Diocese of Owensboro before employment can be granted.
Full time employees are eligible to receive a 50% tuition discount and 35% after school discount.
