R&D QUALITY ASSURANCE INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW
Envision spending your summer working with energetic colleagues and inspirational leaders, all while gaining world-class experience in one of the most dynamic organizations in the pharmaceutical industry. This is a reality for AbbVie’s Experiential Interns.
Research and Development (R&D) Quality Assurance supports the production of clinical materials for projects in every stage of development. By careful review of batch documentation and event exception reports, RDQA ensures all material produced for clinical trials is compliant with FDA ICH Q7 guidance and EU Annex 13 regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Manage a project with the outcome of measurable process improvement for incoming materials
Review key documentation required for material approval
Network potential root causes with process Subject Matter Experts
Compile and present project findings to plant management and other key stakeholders
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a Bachelor’s in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or related field
Must be enrolled in university during the internship period
Prior experience with data collection and statistical analysis
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Exposure to chemistry, statistical analysis, and microbiology
Project management experience
Experience with cGMP guidance/regulations (ICH Q7 and EU Annex 13)
