Responsible for providing Career and Technical Education instruction in Business Software Applications, Introduction to Computers, and Computer Literacy areas; to assist assigned students to complete the required competencies for that trade area; demonstrate effective classroom or lab management; to ensure that the lab is operated in compliance with all aspects of safety management; and to maintain accurate and current student records for assigned student.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge and skills in communications, business systems, computer applications, word processing and information systems, and keyboarding communications and information technologies; possess considerable skills to perform tasks in those areas; ability to determine and use effective methods of service delivery; ability to manage a classroom, maintain records, and supervise assigned students and aides. Must be able to demonstrate competency on the appropriate current state licensure. Must be able to meet the physical and environmental demands of the position.Must possess or be eligible for a Virginia Teaching License.
