Court Services Clinician –Athens Clarke Co.Do you want to join a team that helps clients in treatment, court, or justice-involved situations?Do you want to act as an advocate for your clients (and support their families) while helping them work toward recovery?Position Summary: Court Services Clinician - Advantage Behavioral HealthUnder general supervision, provides assessment and counseling services to justice involved clients including those involved with treatment court programs and/or those recently released from jail. The will Clinician work in collaboration with a treatment and case management team to ensure that clients are receiving needed services, and information is communicated to community partners. They will also track clinical outcomes using standardized instruments. This position includes training in evidence-based treatments, as well as the potential for attendance and involvement with the treatment courts. Note: This position may require some evening hours.Job ResponsibilitiesPerforms comprehensive psychosocial assessments.Collaborates with clients to develop comprehensive treatment plansUtilizes standardized clinical outcome assessments to measure treatment progress and inform treatment interventions.Provides individual, group, and family counseling to justice involved individuals referred to the department with Addictive Diseases and/or Co-Occurring diagnoses.Makes referrals to other needed care outside of behavioral health.Provides crisis evaluation and referral.Collaborates with the partners to include court teams, attorneys and case managers to assist clients in follow up with other providers both within and outside the agency.Participates in regular staff meetings including those to review higher risk clients.Completes specialized training in specific treatments, including any required case consultation.When indicated, provides specific treatment modalities/curriculums for court involved clientsCompletes clinical documentation timely for all client encounters.Maintains appropriate state license to practiceMinimum Qualifications:Associate licensure in the State of Georgia as an LAPC, LAMFT, or LMSWOr CADC Certification OR Fully licensed in the State of Georgia as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with Justice involved populations and/or treatment courtsExperience in a community mental health setting, experience providing addictive disease services
