Wisler Plumbing and Air has an immediate need for a Staff Accountant
(3-5 + Years Accounting Experience Required)
The purpose of this position is to support the Controller on all financial affairs and daily accounting functions including, but not limited to reviewing monthly financial statements, reconciling and preparing supporting schedules, Invoicing and A/R functions, reconciliations and other analysis. This position is also responsible for a portion of daily Invoicing, helping to maintain the organizations overall accounting systems, procedures, policies and related programs.
We are seeking a self-motivated individual, analytical and has strong organizational skills. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, professional verbal, and written communication. Looking for time management skills, accountability, prompt follow through and ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced environment. The traits we prefer are: factual, structured, independent, instructional, motivational, highly organized, detailed, orderly, task-oriented, prioritize tasks in order of importance, able to work in and around fast paced and ever-changing environment.

Duties to include:
• Assist the Controller/Accounting team, in the review of monthly financial statements for accuracy and GAAP compliance
• Ensuring proper and timely A/R Invoicing.
• Month end journal entry's / Month end close procedures
• Inspect GL accounts for accuracy
• Organize and update financial records
• Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue
• Perform Account reconciliations
• Assist in External Audits
• Prepare/Assist /Review/ - bi-weekly payroll
• Reporting on Daily Revenue
• Other Tasks as assigned
Position specifics :
Monday - Friday with flexible work schedule (typically 7am - 5pm)
Pay: $44,000 - $58,000 per year depending on experience and education level.
Critical skills/education:
• Intermediate to Advanced excel/Microsoft office user
• Accounting degree is a plus.
• Communication skills, Organized, detailed oriented, and consistent follow thru
• Goal oriented team player attitude is a must
