Overview
The Account Manager is responsible for account support at the direction of the senior team members. The Account Manager provides customer service by handling the day-to-day operations of clients' insurance need and works to support delivery proper insurance and risk management services for clients.

Responsibilities
• Client Support • Maintains accurate client information to provide day-to-day client support and address intermediate-level client inquiries.
• Assists in the development of strong business relationships with appropriate insurance carrier personnel. Recognizes and satisfies carrier goals and objectives to enhance business relationships.
• Account Management • Maintains files with proper records according to company procedures. Follows company procedures in order to achieve positive audit results.
• Ensures accuracy of account information for both new and renewal policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy in rating, coverage, signatures, and enters these
transactions to generate billing invoices in a timely manner.
• Reviews all premium audits according to Agency procedures recognizing that the Agency must process in a timely manner.
• Reviews accounts receivable report for all assigned accounts to support client retention.
• Insurance Expertise • Leverages technical knowledge to ensure carrier quotes are received in a timely fashion; Reviews quotes for gaps and assists with inquiries from the carrier.
• Attend training and seek self-directed learning to continue education in industry and technical knowledge.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• 2-5 years of related experience and/or training preferred
• Property and Casualty License
• Working knowledge of available commercial lines coverages based on business and industry
• Proficient in providing client service through electronic, telephone, and in-person interaction
• Problem solving skills; strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in use of Agency Management software, or demonstrated skill at quickly learning new systems
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office or similar software, including spreadsheet and presentation
software
