Responsibilities of the Graphic Design Intern will be to work hand in hand with our Social Media Team to create fun and creative content for our communication strategies. You will be invited to attend our Brain Trust Meetings which take place twice a week for an hour over Zoom to discuss communication strategies for our platforms. One such platform is our main entertainment partner, Adventure Ted, which is the name of our superhero teddy bear who helps children overcome challenges.
Graphic Designers will be expected to participate in productions of The Adventure Ted Chronicles. This is an Instagram comic series where Adventure Ted goes on exciting superhero journeys. Each episode is also a fundraiser for the Childhood Cancer Society and helps support our initiatives. As a member of the graphic design team, you will have the opportunity to create designs for new store items and speciality holiday items—brainstorm some products you'd like to see/design!
Strong passion to be a part of a diverse team looking to do good in the world
Motivated, flexible with a strong work ethic
Passion for charity work, fundraising, & social media
Internship experience in marketing and/or social media is a plus
Blogging and photography experience is a plus
Proficiency in any of the following software or similar programs:

Adobe Illustrator CC
CorelDRAW
Gravit Designer
Inkscape
Sketch
Xara Designer Pro X
