Works as an individual contributor to set and achieve objectives for own area of responsibility. Influences process, possesses great problem-solving skills, communication skills and the willingness to make initiative while driving corrective action.Key Responsibilities:Ensuring that the manufacturing process output quality level continues to have a positive impact on PPM metrics year over yearConducts Layered Process Audit (Process Certification, Product and Process Qualification Audits, etc.)Daily plant manufacturing support for defect resolution, run test-related failures, and component line fit-upsBeing an integral team member of the Operations Production Line by understanding the product and processes to make informed decisions as the voice of the customerInvestigate and resolve reported supplier-related manufacturing issues while working closely with the Supplier Quality Engineering counterpartsLead QCPC team for identified continuous improvement projects to improve product line first pass yield (FPY), assembly turnback, and customer complaintsAddressing field complaints by working with the field service engineering team (FSE) and respective departments to drive corrective actionAdminister collection of data and prepare monthly technical presentation for customers and managementObserve and implement product and process quality improvementsCollaborate with production and quality team to validate non-conforming materials and establish corrective actionsMonitor projects, identify risks, issues and prepare documents for sameTrain various teams for quality procedures and ensure compliance to best practicesSupport manufacturing in the launching of new products on the assembly lineRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree1 + years of experience in a manufacturing facility or industry1+ years of experience in qualityPreferred Qualification:You will need attention to detail and the ability to work on their initiative with a dedicated strategic approach to challengesCritical thinking and problem solving skillsThe position requires someone with technical skills commensurate with the product line Administrative/management skills to handle various presentation and reporting requirements.Communication and inter personal skills#LI-On-siteRSRCARCarrier is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
