Maintenance Foreman (Glade Hill, VA)

Rockydale Quarries Corporation, an established aggregate producer, is looking for a Maintenance Foreman at our location in Glade Hill, Virginia.  The Maintenance Foreman will supervise daily maintenance activities and administer a preventative maintenance program within the quarry with the primary focus on plant processing equipment.  This individual will also be responsible for directing and prioritizing the daily activities of multiple crews, communicating with production and management staff, record keeping, and mentoring of crew members.
A two-year degree and a minimum of one year experience in a related field is required.  Mining Engineering or related degree preferred.  Experience of 3-5 years in a related field may be considered in place of degree.  Must have solid background in all aspects of safety and health rules, including environmental regulations.
Strong computer, organizational, communication, and leadership skills are required. Must possess or be able to obtain Virginia Foreman/Blaster/CMA certifications. A working knowledge of CAD a plus, but not required.
