Manufacturing company located in Blandon has a need for a General Ledger Accountant for a corporate office. This individual will be responsible for performing particular month end closing tasks surrounding the general ledger area. These closing responsibilities include but are not limited to benefit related journal entries, miscellaneous accounts receivable, and payroll, burdens and settlements analysis. This individual will assist with generating reporting, performing account reconciliations, SOX controls, flux analysis and ad hoc projects surrounding process improvements and related documentation.Please forward resume to dena.clare@randstadusa.com or apply direct. Responsibilities
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations related to compensation, benefits, miscellaneous accounts receivable, and other areas as needed.
• Lead or assist with certain account or process analysis and process improvement related initiatives including predetermined time labor allocations, burdens and related capitalization analysis, intercompany invoicing and reconciliation, various documentation and efficiency improvements, and other areas as needed.
• Perform SOX controls and provide support for internal and external audits.
• Knowledge of GAAP including technical accounting principles.
• Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley 404 requirements and ability to perform key controls over financial reporting.
• Knowledge of MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting
• CPA a plus
