BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION
The Human Resources Administrator supports the Human Resources department in all aspects of HR including the development, implementation, maintenance and monitoring of the following areas: leave administration, employee relations, safety and workers’ compensation, event planning, employee development and training, the onboarding of candidates, budget and immigration administration.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures and guidelines:
• Track and maintain documentation for record keeping in compliance with company and Federal requirements
• Processing HR invoices to ensure timely payment.
• Assisting with the administrative aspects of the Internship Program, Employee meetings, Service Awards, supplies, workflow approval processes, timesheets, attendance management and HRIS support.
• Work with our third party attorney to process immigration documents.
• Active member on safety committee, work with management to ensure compliance and enforcement, assist with safety training initiatives – create and deliver curriculum.
• Assist with managing workers comp claims – submit claims, complete documentation, follow-up with injured workers and management.
• Ensure OSHA and other workers’ comp documentation completed and reported.
• Budget responsibility
• Other duties as assigned by management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Recourses or related field preferred.
• In lieu of degree at least 3 years related work experience.
• Professional certification in Human Resources (PHR) preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, Power Point and Publisher preferred.
• The ability to handle confidential information with great sensitivity.
• Familiarity with employment law and regulatory agencies to include (OSHA, FMLA, ADA, Federal and State laws).
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, Power Point

• Ability to interact with Senior Executive level management with professionalism
• Sound judgment and resourcefulness
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Typical office environment.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Some travel may be required but less than 10%
