Job Description Role: Technical - Mobile Core Engineer Location; Roanoke, VA/ Eureka, CA Type: Contract to Hire
Top skills: •Exposure to 3g, 4g and 5g nodes •Unix/Lunix experience •Alcatel Lucent switches •Legacy Network
• Bachelor's Degree (Electrical Engineering, IT, CS or related discipline) or equivalent work or military       experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in wireless telecommunications, data networking, or operations.
• Minimum of 4 - 6 years of experience using performance indicators to measure the overall results and   develop remediation and improvement plans.
• Qualified candidates should have experience using Tableau and other visual analysis platforms to   develop and manage KPI's for the end-to-end network performance.
• Strong foundation in technical aptitude in critical areas such as 5G Core, 4G/LTE, data networking,   programing languages, tools, analytical and automation practices.
• Qualified candidates will have experience in the following environments: IP, routing, signaling, server   administration in virtual and non-virtual environments, application, packet technologies, LAN switching signaling, QoS, VoIP, carrier grade data centers and 1xCDMA and LTE network technologies.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Travel required.
