Join us and we can make a difference together.About this role:The Lean Manufacturing Transformation Leader will be a highly effective leader with expertise in lean manufacturing and industrial engineering and plant transformations. He or she will lead lean events and be a key member of high-impact teams. In addition to provide regional support they will develop local capabilities. This role reports centrally and will involve deployments at different facilities for varying lengths of time.Key Responsibilities:Recommends strategies for the implementation of lean, continuous improvement, and six sigma (Process Certification) processes while leading major projects in accordance with the Carrier Excellence Criteria and program directives.Directs and delivers large, complex transformation initiatives that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions focused on continuous improvement.Oversees the deployment of Carrier Excellence tools and methodologies in business and manufacturing environments to drive best in class processes while working to become an Carrier Excellence Practitioner/Carrier Excellence Master.Identifies new methods for implementing best practices aimed at ensuring quality control procedures effectively evaluate an organization's products.Leads large and complex Carrier Excellence Site Assessments to enable Carrier Excellence site and cell certifications.Evaluates monthly Carrier Excellence Performance Metrics to assess if organization objectives have been met in the areas of cost, efficiency, and quality.Provides recommendations for the standards that should be used for the proper application and interpretation of the Carrier Excellence criteria to become a certified Carrier Excellence Silver/Gold assessor.Provides highly specialized expertise and advises on the development and content of all levels of Carrier Excellence training materials to ensure a successful Carrier Excellence Certification Program.Participate as a key member of one or more high-impact teams to improve operational performance in delivery, inventory, productivity, or quality.Conduct cell design events to improve productivity and reduce inventory.Lead 3P events for new product lines and in support of product relocations and new building start-up.Support Greenfield factory projects from initial layout to full implementation.Deploy mixed model production techniques to reduce overall lead-times and reduce inventory.Work close with industrial engineers within the factories engaged in time studies and productivity improvements.Lead events through implementation of integrated production logistics including part presentation and supplier integration.Develop and provide guidance to local personnel in lean including site lean transformation project leaders.Work with 3PL’s to ensure proper inventory levels, picking efficiencies, and scrap reduction.Work closely with the SIOP team to level load the factories and develop takted delivery routes.Required Qualifications:BS degree in industrial engineering or other technical field or Master’s degree in business with a focus on operations.Lean, Six Sigma or ACE experience:  5+ years.Preferred Qualifications:50% Travel3PL/ warehouse  experience a plus10+ years experience in manufacturing operations with progressive leadership & technical responsibilities.  (preferred)Planning experience a plusStrong interpersonal skills and communication skills required.RSRCAR#LI-RemoteCarrier is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
