Description:The Allocations Analyst is responsible for providing thoughtful store analysis that places the right product in the right stores at the right time, which contributes to the company's sales and margin goals. In this role, you will partner with across merchandising, planning, and fulfillment teams to gather the right inputs to effectively manage and allocate inventory to GameStop’s stores. As part of this team, you will utilize data to develop actionable insights that help to decide how to create the best in store experience for our guests. You will also manage the tactical day-to-day work, including daily replenishment, troubleshooting variances and discrepancies, and responding to feedback from store operations.  ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESExecute daily allocations of inventory to stores based on independent analysis of inventory levels & forecast as aligned upon with cross functional partners Communicating with fulfillment centers as necessary to flow product to storeEnsure the right product is delivered to stores at the right timeMonitor warehouse inventory and flow; recommend appropriate actions to the team to maximize business objectivesBuild and maintain effective relationships with cross-functional teams (merchandising, planning, fulfillment)Provide ad-hoc analysis and additional responsibilities as requiredSupport the successful implementation of new systems and processesJOB SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE1-3 years of Allocation Planning experience or relevant retail experience (planning, merchandising, finance)Demonstrates analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesPossess a clear understanding of retail KPIs: sales, gross margin, weeks of supply, inventory turn, sell through, etc. and how to impact themStrong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and an aptitude to learn technical applications quicklyStrong written and verbal communication skills
