This is a reality for AbbVie’s Experiential Interns. In Product & Process Development, the Engineering Intern will work closely with engineers on a variety of tasks supporting the ideation, design and development of medical devices in the field of Regenerative Medicine. **Key responsibilities include:** - Work under direct supervision of an “assignment manager” on tasks that will support R&D projects in the regenerative medicine pipeline - Support physical testing of prototypes and sample materials, data analysis, and documentation/presentation generation - Support the fabrication and processing of prototypes in the R&D process lab under direct guidance from experienced team members - Organize data in shared collaboration spaces - Communicate with team members in brainstorming and problem solving **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** - Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Biomedical, Bioengineering, etc.), or other related field - Must be enrolled in university during the internship period - Expected graduation date between May 2023 to 2025 **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** - Exposure to undergraduate engineering courses - Exposure to working in undergraduate engineering and science laboratory setting - Exposure to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) **BENEFITS AND AMENITIES** - Competitive pay - Travel, transportation and lodging support for eligible students **EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY** At AbbVie, we value bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds to develop new and innovative solutions for patients.
