Job Summary Responsible for large and small-scale projects and project teams that support nursing strategy. Plans, executes, and finalizes projects according to negotiated deadlines and within cost and resource budget. Ensures project alignment with OH strategic imperatives, mission, vision, and goals. # Job Responsibilities Directs and coordinates activities of program and project managers, as applicable, to ensure projects progress on schedule and within prescribed budgets. Collaborates with nursing leadership to identify and prioritize projects. Manages all aspects of assigned projects. Incorporates evidence-based, literature-supported best practice into project planning. Manages detailed project plans and provides real-time status on project activity to Nurse leaders, steering committees, and other stakeholders on progress and performance metrics. Uses sound business and clinical management strategies to maintain and improve quality; meets established financial goals; develops, implements, and communicates implementation plan. Develop and maintain project plans, logs, status, milestones, agendas, and meeting notes. Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions using lean principles and methodologies to reduce waste. Develop process workflows as it relates to assigned projects and/or to support internal process improvement initiatives. Collaborates with customers/team members to ensure a continued focus on improved operations. Coordinates the efforts of the team and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. Collects and performs statistical analysis, interpretation, and dissemination of data related to projects Assist the organization in advancing lean principles, methodology and application through coaching, consultations, education, and projects. Coordinates activities and projects to meet organizational and regulatory agency goals and monitors local, state, and federal regulations. Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of health services. Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Recruits, interviews, and selects team members with a high level of engagement. Qualifications Bachelor#s degree or higher in Healthcare Administration required upon hire OR Bachelor#s degree or higher in Business Administration required upon hire OR Bachelor#s degree or higher in related field required upon hire A minimum of 4 years# relevant experience required PMP - Project Management Professional certification through Project Management Institute (PMI) preferred Skills and Attributes Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment.
