Join us and we can make a difference together.About this role:The Senior Manager, Carrier Excellence will lead a large team of experienced quality professionals for Carrier Excellence/Continuous Improvement team leaders, oversee key elements of lean and continuous improvement operations, and also develop processes, policies and/or operating plans in support of quality Carrier Excellence/Continuous Improvement strategy.Responsibilities:Manages a large team focused on major projects specific to implementing lean, continuous improvement, and six sigma (Process Certification) processes in accordance with the Carrier Excellence Criteria and program directives.Oversees the tactical deployment of Carrier Excellence tools and methodologies in business and manufacturing environments to drive best in class processes while gaining recognition as an Carrier Excellence Practitioner/Carrier Excellence Master.Assists with the identification of best practices related to quality control procedures that will be used to effectively evaluate an organization's products.Leads Carrier Excellence Site Assessments to enable Carrier Excellence site and cell certifications.Evaluates monthly Carrier Excellence Performance Metrics to ensure that organization objectives in the areas of cost, efficiency, and quality are met.Directs team to demonstrate proper application and interpretation of the Carrier Excellence criteria in order to gain certification as an Carrier Excellence Silver/Gold assessor.Develops a plan for Carrier Excellence training, provides expertise and guides content development for Carrier Excellence training materials to ensure a successful Carrier Excellence Certification Program.Basic Qualifications:BS degree in industrial engineering or other technical field or degree in business with a focus on operations and 10+ years’ experience in manufacturing operations with progressive leadership & technical responsibilities.5+ years of Lean, Six Sigma or Operational Excellence experiencePreferred Qualifications:Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills required#LI-On-siteRSRCARCarrier is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
