Transicold helps improve the transport and shipping of temperature-controlled cargoes with a complete line of equipment and services for refrigerated transport and cold chain visibility. For more than 40 years, Carrier Transicold has been an industry leader, providing customers around the world with the most advanced, energy efficient and environmentally sustainable container refrigeration systems and generator sets, direct-drive and diesel truck units and trailer refrigeration systems. You will provide support to a manufacturing/assembly operation at the Carrier Transicold Athens facility. This role works with the Engineering manager.Key Responsibilities:Establish clear processes, procedures, and technology implementation to drive the delivery of outstanding resultsEngage with product engineering during the design cycle to ensure the design for manufacturability and tooling to ensure efficient and capable production methods and processes.Apply working knowledge of product design and assembly to the manufacturing processParticipate in brainstorming sessions and cross-departmental meetings to ensure collaborating and cohesionAchieve product profitability goals by completing projects within required time constraints while meeting all quality, cost and delivery targets.Perform time studies, line balancing and implement process improvementsRecommend methods for improving operators effectiveness in safety, quality, and productivityRequired Qualifications:5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environmentBS in Manufacturing Engineering requiredPreferred Qualifications:Demonstrated ability to deliver to scheduleEffective communication skills (verbal and written)Results-oriented teammate with proven self-motivation skillsExperience using continuous improvement methodologiesBasic computer proficiency with email and Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, other systems#LI-On-siteRSRCARCarrier is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
