Our client, a leading flexible packaging company, is seeking a Machinist to join their team. This position will be responsible for the daily operation of the NGR and Spider including overall repro production and quality while setting a good example for Assistant Operator pertaining to work habits at the repro line.
Daily Responsibilities:
*Disassembly, repair, and reassembly of machine components.
*Fabrication of machine components.
*Use of: Manual Lathes, Milling Machines, Saws, Grinders, Drills, etc.
*Maintain a clean and organized work environment
*Assist in machine and facilities engineering projects in order to improve machine reliability.

Requirements:
*10 years' experience required.
*Excellent coordination and mechanical skills.
*Experience in Mig/Arc welding required.
*Must be able to read and understand mechanical drawings.
*Accurately use measuring equipment and hand tools.
*Ability to operate machine shop equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
*Must be able to fill out maintenance work orders.
*Must be able to stand continuously for (8) eight hour shift.
*Must be able to adhere to company policy, safety rules and regulations, and wear PPE.
*Ability to perform general math accurately and consistently.
*Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, and Outlook email and calendar capabilities.
