• Charge Nurse must commit to a 12 hour shift every Saturday and Sunday.
• Full Time status available picking up a 12 hour shift during the week.
• 10,000 sign on bonus for FT
• 5,000 sign on bonus for PT
The Charge Nurse supervises CNAs and provides direct patient care in accordance with state, federal and MFA Nursing Policies and Procedures. This position also assists in the development/implementation of patient care plans, identifies patient goals/approaches, resolves patient/family concerns, and summarizes concerns for Clinical Unit Manager.
Qualifications include:
• Current license by the Virginia Board of Nursing to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form
• Ability to interact with a variety of people and foster a team philosophy
• Ability to negotiate and interact effectively with staff, patients, families, and professional/regulatory agents
