Full Job Description Terminal Address: Athens, GA.
Pay : $140/ day; $1.65/ stop above 80 Stops
Existing FedEx drivers: have an edge.
Typical miles driven each day: 60-80 only.
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time and Part-time.
Any form of on-Job driving is eligible. Army veterans are welcome.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
• Handle and deliver packages on a safely and timely manner from the warehouse to assigned routes.
• Perform all duties in a manner that promotes superior customer service and professionalism with customers and team members.
• Establish and maintain outstanding relations with customers.
• Safely operate and navigate commercial vehicles in all weather conditions.
• Properly use the provided hand-held device to record all activity for the day.
• Lift, bend, carry and load packages up to 150 lbs.
• Use a wide range of apps and devices.
What you'll need to succeed at FedEx Ground:
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must be legal to work in the USA.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 1 year of verifiable on-Job driving experience in the last 3 years OR 3 years of such experience in the last 10 years.
• Must be able to pass DOT physical and background check.
• Must have a clean driving record (MVR).
• Must have dependable transportation to and from the job location.
