• Must demonstrate proficiency in all areas of testing in the department.
• Consistently and independently performs the more complex level clinical tests by following department procedures
Assumes initiative for prompt, accurate performance of test results with appropriate documentation of results.
• Reports quality results with limited errors.
• Proficient in troubleshooting all applicable instruments in the department.
• Assists in validation processed through documentation and development of procedural operations for new tests.
• Provide guidance or oversight of unlicensed staff, as required.
• Must be familiar with CAP, CLIA, and COLA requirements and knowledgeable with the specialty requirements within those organizations.
