Camp Pennyroyal is a traditional overnight summer camp owned and operated by the Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana. Pennyroyal is 180-acres with its own 8-acre spring feed lake, high ropes course and plenty of hiking trails to explore. Our program typically hosts Girl Scouts grades K-12 with up to 90 campers, staff and adult volunteers. The director team will attend training 5/24- 6/9. We are seeking an enthusiastic Waterfront Director to provide the ultimate summer camp experience for our campers. The Waterfront Director manages our aquatic program, facilities, and equipment; including sit a-top kayaking, canoeing, stand up paddleboarding, windsurfing and swimming. The Waterfront Director will train and supervise unit staff in aquatic areas, work with campers, and support needs around camp. Other duties include supporting cookout nights, participating in daily camp life, and more. The Waterfront Director should be responsible, attentive, and fun-loving. The ideal candidate will have paddling and lifeguarding experience and be invested in the development of our campers and staff and how our program can best empower them.
