Camp Pennyroyal is a traditional overnight summer camp owned and operated by the Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana. Pennyroyal is 180-acres with its own 8-acre spring feed lake, high ropes course and plenty of hiking trails to explore. Our program typically hosts Girl Scouts grades K-12 with up to 90 campers, staff and adult volunteers. We are seeking an enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to aid our Head Cook. Duties include preparing 3 daily meals for campers and staff, managing and cleaning an industrial kitchen, washing and sanitizing dishes, prepping food for cookouts, and more. The Kitchen Assistant should be responsible and attentive. The ideal candidate will be genuinely invested in the care of our campers and counselors and how to best serve them.
