Bear Creek Aquatic Camp is a traditional overnight summer camp owned and operated by the Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana. Bear Creek is 183-acres tucked away in Girl Scout Bay on Kentucky Lake playing host to a variety of aquatic sports like sailing, paddling and swimming. Our program typically hosts Girl Scouts grades 4-12 with up to 80 campers and staff. The director team will attend training 5/24- 6/9. We are seeking an enthusiastic Program Director to provide the ultimate summer camp experience for our campers. The Program Director ensures the physical and mental well-being of all campers and develops daily programming for small and large groups. The Program Director will supervise staff in the program areas, assist in training staff, and support all program needs around the camp. Other duties include participating in daily aquatic activities, supporting cookouts, managing campfire programs, participating in daily camp life, and more. The Program Director should be responsible, attentive, and fun-loving. The ideal candidate will be invested in the development of our campers and staff and how our program can best empower them.
