Bear Creek Aquatic Camp is a traditional overnight summer camp owned and operated by the Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana. Bear Creek is 183-acres tucked away in Girl Scout Bay on Kentucky Lake playing host to a variety of aquatic sports like sailing, paddling and swimming. Our program typically hosts Girl Scouts grades 4-12 with up to 70 campers. All staff must attend staff training 5/30-6/9. We are seeking enthusiastic Camp Counselors to provide the ultimate summer camp experience for our campers by supervising a living unit, delivering daily programming, and being a champion of fun. Counselors will work in teams of 2-4 with a Unit Leader, a unit is typically comprised of 4-24 campers and provides daily programming like swimming, boating, games, nature education, and more! The ideal candidate will be genuinely invested in the development of our campers and how we can best empower them.
