Bear Creek Aquatic Camp is a traditional overnight summer camp owned and operated by the Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana. Bear Creek is 183-acres tucked away in Girl Scout Bay on Kentucky Lake playing host to a variety of aquatic sports like sailing, paddling and swimming. Our program typically hosts Girl Scouts grades 4-12 with up to 80 campers and staff. We are seeking a Camp Cook to manage our summer camp food service. Duties include menu planning, preparing 3 daily meals, maintaining, and cleaning an industrial kitchen, and more. The head cook works on a team with the Kitchen Manager and kitchen assistant, other camp staff step in as need and available. The Head Cook should be responsible, attentive, and fun-loving. The ideal candidate will be genuinely invested in the care of our campers and staff and how to best serve them.
