Athens Technical College in Athens, GA seeks a full-time Day Custodian. The Day Custodian is immediately responsible to the Executive Director of Facilities and the Custodial Supervisor in cleaning and maintaining the Facilities of the college.Job duties include but are not limited to:Ensure that assigned buildings are cleaned and maintained properlyService and clean all restrooms, and empty trash, twice dailySweep, mop and/or vacuum all floors in every hallway and foyer, and other common areas like vending machines areas, dailySweep and mop all inside staircases dailySweep and clean all outside staircases/entry ways dailyEmpty all trash inside and outside, and in every hallway and foyer, and other common areas like vending machines areas, dailyPlace wet floor signs out after mopping any floorsService all paper towel dispensers and hand sanitizers in all labs and classrooms, as requestedMaintain all entryways, cleaning all windows inside and out, all interior and exterior entry way mats, removing of wasps’ nests, spider webs, and any other debrisMaintain adequate consumables, paper products, trashcan liners, cleaning supplies in all assigned buildingsPerform other duties as assignedDeadline to apply is November 28, 2022 at 4:00 pm. **The work schedule will be Monday thru Friday 6:00 am—2:30 pm**.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDPreferred QualificationsExperience in higher education custodial servicesTo apply, click "Apply to This Job" and submit your cover letter, resume/vita, three (3) professional references, and unofficial transcripts.
