Trauma Advanced Practice Provider – Surgical OR – Piedmont Athens Hospital - PRN
Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for an Advanced Practice Provider to join the surgical service line team working at our Piedmont Athens campus Level II Trauma Center. This is a PRN position.
In this role you will:
•    Perform first OR assist duties.
•    Rounding on patients in the hospital.
•    Assist in management of post-operative and critically ill patients in the hospital.
•    Evaluate post-operative patients in the office setting.
•    Applies specialized skills and knowledge related to the care of patients in the CVOR, ICU, CCU, CVICU, and provide Trauma support in the ED
•    Assist and or run clinic two-three afternoons a week. Patients will consist of post-op and hospital follow up care only.
•    Contributes to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, consulting and provides leadership to the organization.

Qualifications
Masters, Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification

Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification
ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) Certification
Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
