Job Description Athens Technical College in Athens, Georgia seeks an Adjunct Instructor to teach courses in the Emergency Medical Services Program (EMS); specifically, a Lead Instructor for EMT/AEMT . The Adjunct Instructor will report directly to the Program Chair for Emergency Medical Services.
The successful applicant will be expected to implement course materials that support stated initiatives and use appropriate practical techniques to provide students with the knowledge needed to achieve the learning outcomes for each course offered.

Skills & Requirements Minimum Qualifications
• Advanced EMT and EMS Instructor/Course Coordinator (A), licensed by the Georgia Office of EMS and Trauma
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Instructor
• Considerable knowledge of principles and techniques of educational and training methods
• Considerable knowledge of advanced emergency medical treatment at the AEMT level
• Present experience in the instruction of EMT curricula and in objectively evaluating students in an educational environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Current licensure as an EMT-Intermediate, EMT-Paramedic, or Registered Nurse
