Employment Type:Full timeShift:Description:Under the direction and review of the Palliative Care Medical Director, the Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner provides patient care requiring the performance of palliative medical service in conformance with professional standards and regulations. Demonstrates skills and knowledge necessary to assure assessment, treatment and care is appropriate to the age of the patients served. Documents clinical assessment timely to meet regulations. Performs other duties within job scope as requested.Hold a current, valid and unlimited license as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in the State of Georgia;Hold a current and valid Georgia driver’s license. Not be, and at no time has been, excluded from participation in any federally-funded health care program, including, without limitation, Medicare or Medicaid; Remain insurable for and maintain professional liability insurance at rates reasonably equivalent to those available with respect to other Nurse Practitioner employees of the System, allowing for normal rate differentials among specialties. Completion of a BSN from an accredited nursing school and an MSN from an accredited nursing school. A minimum of two years' experience as a Registered Nurse.
