Description\:
To perform any process/support duties associated with the automated filling of BI Animal Health vaccines. Works within the filling department as a team member to ensure success in the activities associated with the safe and sterile preparation of vaccines
Duties & Responsibilities\:
• Follow cGMP guidelines and departmental procedures
• Ensure all associated documentation is executed and in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Ensure all equipment and facilities are maintained
• Complete daily documentation
• Perform daily inventory transactions; Ensure raw materials are available and inventory accuracy is maintained.
• Track performance through Key Process Indicators
• Operate and maintain all equipment associated with department
• Maintain and work in a clean room work environment
• Participate in the training and qualification of team members
• Initiate/facilitate root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions to address problems Assume supervisor role as needed.
• Demonstrate a visible & tangible commitment to HSE, Lean Principles, and the BI Animal Health Values in all work related activities
• In addition to the above, other assigned duties & projects deemed appropriate within the position scope
Requirements\:
• Basic computer skills - Excel, Word
• Demonstrated team player
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Basic mechanical skills and experience operating automated equipment
• Required\: High school diploma or equivalent plus 3 years experience in related field
• Preferred\: B.S. Biology or related field plus 5 years experience in related field
Eligibility Requirements\:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
Must be 18 years of age or older.
